Huntington Beach Street Fair

What I think is ideal is when I can ride my bike from my house, do a little bit of shopping and eating... sometimes have a cocktail, and then get on my bike and be right back at home.  Tuesday nights in Huntington Beach offer just that.  Surf City Nights is a local street fair that happens every Tuesday from 5-9 PM.  Main Street is shut down from Pacific Coast Hwy to Orange Ave. (That is 3 full blocks of vendor's and shops.)  There is a fresh farmers market with local fruit and vegetables that offer a healthy option rather than going to your local grocery store.  Local artists display their work in quaint white tents showing all that Huntington Beach has to offer. There is everything from photographers to candle makers. There are also street performers on every corner that do everything from body contorting tricks to hip hop dancers battling it out one song at a time.  If you enjoy Santa Monica and the promenade come to Surf city nights on Tuesday nights and get a little piece of that!

I love to come down and get fresh flowers to brighten up my home for the majority of the week.  Even if you do not have any money to spend this is a fun activity to do with both friends and family. You can walk around, grab a snack and enjoy the people watching that is always present at this location.  You can not go wrong if you are looking for something fun to do on a Tuesday night.  You can always stop into one of the local restaurants or bars and enjoy their Taco Tuesday specials or one of the many locals night discounts!!

All in all this is a great weekday night tradition.  Bring the Kids, bring your enthusiasm and this will quickly become one of your favorite days of the week just like me!

If you want any more information on this or anything having to do with Huntington Beach check out my website or give me a call!
